Riyadh Mayor Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf has launched the Riyadh Municipal Transformation Program, designed to keep pace with the city’s rapid expansion and elevate the quality of municipal services in line with Riyadh’s global stature.
The initiative will restructure the city’s 16 sub-municipalities into five major sectors, each responsible for providing both direct and indirect municipal services, ensuring greater efficiency and responsiveness to residents’ needs.
The program aims to enhance operational performance, improve service delivery, and prepare the capital to accommodate large-scale projects and upcoming global events — all while advancing the objectives of Vision 2030 to build smart, sustainable, and people-centered cities.
