The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has officially closed submissions for academic papers for its 4th Annual International Conference,
scheduled to be held in mid-October 2025 in Riyadh, under the patronage of Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan.

Themed “The Global Lexicography Industry: Experiences, Efforts, and Prospects”, the conference aims to advance Arabic language research and foster collaboration between leading linguistic institutions across more than 20 countries.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi, Secretary-General of the academy, stated that the conference will serve as a hub for sharing insights, successful initiatives, and innovative ideas in the field of dictionary development — especially in light of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.
The event will also spotlight major Arabic and international language projects while facilitating valuable knowledge exchange between linguists, tech experts, and educational policymakers.
