The Social Responsibility Association in Riyadh hosted the second edition of the Social Responsibility Forum,
aligning with Saudi Social Responsibility Day on March 23, to amplify collaboration across sectors in support of Vision 2030 and sustainable development.
The event served as a platform to raise awareness about the essential role of social responsibility in driving community development, environmental sustainability, and economic progress.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the forum highlighted the growing importance of the private sector in cultivating a culture of giving and contributing to national development goals.
Saud Al-Subaie, Chairman of the Association, emphasized the need for unified efforts from governmental, private, and nonprofit sectors to ensure impactful and cohesive community engagement. He underscored the importance of synergy in building a more inclusive and resilient society.

Abdullah Al-Muhanna, the Association’s CEO, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to building meaningful partnerships and expanding the scope of social responsibility.
He described the occasion as a valuable opportunity to instill values of generosity, solidarity, and institutional participation in public life.
Statistics from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development revealed a significant increase in corporate involvement: the proportion of major companies implementing CSR programs rose from 30% in 2019 to 65% by the end of 2023.
The forum featured two panel discussions focusing on the roles of public, private, and nonprofit sectors in strengthening CSR practices.
Experts explored national case studies, governance mechanisms for community work, and strategies to embed a culture of social engagement among younger generations.
Additionally, the event addressed measuring social impact, and the importance of adopting high-impact, sustainable programs.
A highlight of the forum was the honoring of the Princess Al-Anoud Charity Foundation for its exceptional contributions to community development and sustainability, along with the recognition of several institutions and individuals from various sectors for their efforts in the field.
Held under the theme “We Commit to Our Social Responsibility,” this year’s Social Responsibility Day reaffirmed the crucial role of all sectors in fostering a culture of giving, citizenship, and collaborative progress.
The forum demonstrated how collective commitment and shared values can serve as a powerful force for building a more just, compassionate, and sustainable society.
