He joined Riyadh Air in 2022 when the airline was still in its conceptual phase, tasked with building the foundations of what aims to be a revolutionary airline in the region.
Reflecting on his beginnings,
Osamah stated, “We live and breathe the life of entrepreneurs. This is happening within the aviation industry, which is one of the toughest industries to build an airline from scratch.”
Setting New Standards in Aviation
Riyadh Air is positioning itself to set new standards in the aviation world. Osamah explained the airline’s ambition to launch its maiden flight this year, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of commercial aviation in Saudi Arabia. He noted, “This year marks a new dawn for aviation in the Kingdom, and we are excited to contribute to its growth.”
The airline aims to reach over 100 destinations by 2030, focusing on enhancing connectivity not just within the region, but also globally. Osamah highlighted Saudi Arabia’s strategic geographical position, which makes it a vital hub for international travel. He mentioned, “We have a connection around the world with seven to eight hours of travel. This is why the Giga projects and Vision 2030 are essential for diversifying our economy beyond oil.”
