Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud, Governor of the Qassim Region, paid a visit to Sudanese child Al-Anoud to check on her health and wellbeing, following her survival of a tragic road accident that claimed the lives of all her family members while traveling in the Qassim region.
The accident resulted in the loss of her parents and siblings, leaving Al-Anoud as the sole survivor. She was immediately transferred to receive urgent medical care and underwent intensive treatment and monitoring until her condition stabilized.
During the visit, the Qassim governor reviewed her medical condition and directed that full medical and psychological care be provided, with continuous follow-up to ensure her recovery. He emphasized the importance of delivering integrated care that addresses both physical and emotional needs, particularly for children who have experienced severe trauma.
The governor highlighted the need for close coordination between health and social services to support such humanitarian cases, stressing that psychological support is a vital component alongside medical treatment.
This humanitarian gesture reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to compassion, social solidarity, and comprehensive care, ensuring that those affected by difficult circumstances receive the necessary support and attention.
