Qassim Governor praises heritage center’s efforts in preserving regional identity and culture

Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim, commended the vital role played by the region’s heritage center in preserving and promoting Qassim’s rich cultural legacy during an official visit to the facility.

The governor emphasized that safeguarding heritage is a cornerstone in reinforcing national identity. He praised the center’s dedication to documentation, exhibitions, and educational programs that help younger generations connect with the region’s historical roots.

Prince Faisal also highlighted the center’s efforts in showcasing traditional crafts and folk heritage, describing them as essential to maintaining cultural memory amid the Kingdom’s ongoing development across sectors.

He called for enhanced collaboration between public and private entities to support cultural projects, affirming that Qassim’s deep-rooted legacy deserves to be preserved as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 commitment to culture and heritage.
