Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has launched a promotional campaign in the Kingdom to highlight the Dhofar Autumn 2025 season,
aiming to position Dhofar as a premier natural and cultural destination for travelers from across the Gulf.
The initiative is part of a broader strategy to strengthen regional tourism ties and attract more visitors from Saudi Arabia during one of Oman’s most celebrated travel seasons.
The campaign included a series of meetings with travel agencies, media representatives, and content creators in the Kingdom.

During the events, Oman showcased Dhofar’s unique appeal during the Khareef season, which runs from June to September,
when the region transforms into a lush, green landscape enveloped in mist and light rain—offering a rare cool climate and breathtaking natural scenery during the Gulf’s typically hot summer months.
Officials also presented a rich lineup of cultural, entertainment, and heritage events planned for the season,
offering families and nature lovers a well-rounded tourism experience. The campaign reflects the growing tourism collaboration between Oman and the Kingdom,
underscoring a shared commitment to promoting regional destinations and enhancing mutual tourism exchange.
