Saudi officials have described the national program to train and upskill over 100,000 Saudis in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies as a crucial milestone in the Kingdom’s journey toward a digitally empowered future under Vision 2030.

The initiative forms part of a broader national strategy to build human capital, equipping Saudi talent with essential skills in data analytics, machine learning, cybersecurity, and digital innovation — preparing them to lead the country’s emerging tech sectors.

The program will be implemented in collaboration with Saudi universities, research institutions, and leading global tech firms, offering internationally recognized certifications and specialized training tracks that enhance Saudi youth’s global competitiveness.

Officials noted that this effort represents a cornerstone in localizing advanced technologies, creating high-value job opportunities, and positioning Saudi Arabia as a regional leader in AI, innovation, and data-driven transformation.

The initiative is spearheaded by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), which continues to advance the Kingdom’s digital ecosystem through cutting-edge programs in research, education, and entrepreneurship, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role as a global hub for sustainable digital innovation.
