Malvern College to Launch First Campus in Riyadh by 2027 in Partnership with KEIP

One of the UK’s most prestigious independent schools, Malvern College, has announced a strategic partnership with KSA Education Investment Partners (KEIP) to open its first campus in the Kingdom: Malvern College Riyadh, scheduled to open in 2027.

The collaboration marks the beginning of a broader plan to establish several schools and nurseries across Saudi Arabia and the region, providing pupils access to Malvern’s world-class educational experience while embracing local identity and culture.

A Legacy of Excellence

Founded in 1865, Malvern College has built a global reputation for academic excellence, with its alumni regularly progressing to Oxford, Cambridge, and Ivy League universities. Its distinguished graduates include Nobel Prize winners, Olympic gold medalists, the acclaimed author C.S. Lewis, as well as politicians, military leaders, and scientists.

The college is renowned for its holistic approach to education, combining rigorous academics with sports, arts, and co-curricular activities. It consistently ranks among the world’s top 50 International Baccalaureate schools, reflecting its commitment to nurturing well-rounded and accomplished students.

Partnership for the Future

Keith Metcalfe, Headmaster of Malvern College, emphasized that the partnership with KEIP goes beyond opening a new school. “This collaboration is about sharing our core values of curiosity, kindness, independence, resilience, integrity and ambition across a global community,” he said.

He added: “With 160 years of educational innovation and proven success, our dedicated team will work with experienced local partners to deliver the Malvern standard of education in a way that respects and enhances local culture. I look forward to welcoming Riyadh pupils into the Malvern family and continuing our mission to prepare young people to thrive in an interconnected world.”

Supporting Vision 2030

Naif Alrasheed, Chairman of KEIP, stated that the platform was founded to bring exceptional early and K-12 education to Saudi Arabia, aligning with Vision 2030 by preparing future Saudi leaders to compete globally while upholding national identity, values, and the Arabic language.

He noted: “We are delighted to partner with Malvern College, one of the world’s most respected schools, to bring its outstanding heritage to Riyadh. By combining Malvern’s academic legacy with KEIP’s ambition, we will equip the next generation of Saudis to thrive as leaders in an increasingly interconnected, digitally driven world.”
