In a significant milestone marking the beginning of the 2025 Hajj preparations, Jeddah Islamic Port welcomed the first group of pilgrims arriving by sea.
A total of 1,407 pilgrims from Sudan were received with warm hospitality and efficient logistical support.
The delegation was greeted by Assistant Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Ahmed bin Sufyan Al-Hassan,
along with senior officials from various government agencies, ensuring a smooth entry process through a fully integrated service framework.
This arrival reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the pilgrimage experience and improving infrastructure across all entry points.
It also aligns with the Kingdom’s broader vision to elevate the quality of services offered to pilgrims and ensure a seamless,
spiritually fulfilling journey from arrival to completion of rituals.
