In a significant meeting held between Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Culture, Hamed Fayez, and Japan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, Yasunari Morino, discussions focused on strengthening cultural ties amid the global platform of Expo 2025 in Osaka.
Ambassador Morino highlighted that Saudi Arabia’s active participation is playing a pivotal role in fostering greater mutual understanding between the two nations and welcomed the Kingdom’s generous support.
He also expressed enthusiasm for future collaboration in Expo 2030, slated to be hosted in Riyadh—a symbolic milestone poised to elevate Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for cultural dialogue.
Both officials emphasized that Expo 2025 and its accompanying cultural activities—including the Hokusai Manga exhibition and the Saudi Cultural Week—serve as meaningful bridges, bringing together Saudi and Japanese heritage and contemporary culture.
