The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) has opened a new art exhibition exploring the profound and personal meaning of “home” through the creative expressions of 28 Saudi artists, each presenting a unique interpretation of belonging, memory, and identity.

Titled “Home: Artistic Visions from Saudi Arabia,” the exhibition features a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, and installations that reflect the emotional and cultural dimensions of home — from nostalgia and connection to transformation and modernity.

According to Ithra’s curators, the exhibition invites visitors to contemplate what home means in a contemporary world, where the idea of belonging extends beyond geography into emotional and spiritual spaces shaped by personal experiences and collective memory.

The featured works span a range of styles — including contemporary, abstract, photographic, and digital art — using color, light, and symbolic imagery inspired by Saudi heritage and everyday life to explore the evolving definition of identity and place.

The exhibition aims to celebrate Saudi Arabia’s growing artistic diversity and stimulate dialogue around cultural identity, aligning with Vision 2030’s mission to empower creativity and strengthen the Kingdom’s global cultural presence.

Ithra officials emphasized that the show is part of the center’s ongoing commitment to supporting visual arts and emerging Saudi talent, showcasing how the new generation of artists reimagines the concept of home through an artistic lens that blends authenticity, innovation, and emotional depth.
