Saudi-based HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund company, has announced the launch of its new Horizon Pro PC at the Snapdragon Summit in Maui, Hawaii. The laptop is described as a pioneering step in agentic AI personal computing, where artificial intelligence operates independently and proactively, requiring little to no human oversight.
Powered by advanced Snapdragon processors, the Horizon Pro delivers industry-leading AI performance, with processing speeds claimed to be up to 100 times faster than human thought. It also debuts the proprietary HUMAIN ONE operating system, designed to unify enterprise workflows, communications, and AI applications under a single adaptive interface that anticipates user needs and accelerates decision-making.
The device offers standout features including instant wake-up, over 18 hours of battery life, a 40 percent reduction in power consumption compared to competitors, and an advanced thermal design for sustained performance in demanding environments.
Notably, the laptop integrates ALLaM, HUMAIN’s Arabic-first large language model, running locally to maximize speed and data privacy while maintaining hybrid cloud capabilities for complex tasks and broader insights.
CEO Tareq Amin highlighted the Horizon Pro as a paradigm shift in enterprise computing, where AI actively collaborates with users both locally and in the cloud to enhance productivity. As part of the launch initiative, HUMAIN will also give away 500 laptops to students, aiming to unlock new potential for learning, creativity, and leadership in AI-driven fields
