Fahad bin Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Mutawa is a Saudi businessman, former football player, and multiple-term President of Al-Raed Club, which he currently heads.
Early Life
Fahad Al-Mutawa was born in 1960 in Buraidah, in the Qassim region. His father was one of the most prominent figures in the city of Buraidah.

Education
He completed his primary and secondary education in Buraidah. After earning his high school diploma, he traveled to the United States to study Management Sciences.
He also studied Computer Science, earning both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Management Sciences and Computer Engineering.
Career
Fahad Al-Mutawa is a businessman and currently serves as President of Al-Raed Football Club, one of the leading clubs in the Qassim region.
He is also a former football player; he began his football career with Al-Nassr Club, where he played across all levels: youth, juniors, and first team.
He later transferred to Al-Raed Club, where he played with the first team for one season.
In 2009, he served as President of Al-Nassr Club.
Achievements
Upon returning to Saudi Arabia, Al-Mutawa pursued a career in private business.
While Al-Raed was competing in the Saudi Professional League, Al-Mutawa supported the club with a financial donation of 50 million SAR in 2008.
In the following year, he assumed leadership of the club. Despite investing in several key signings, the club initially struggled with poor results.
Although Al-Raed failed to maintain its place in the Zain Saudi Professional League, an expansion in the number of participating teams allowed Al-Raed to remain in the top division.
In subsequent seasons, the team improved its performance.
Al-Mutawa later stepped down from the presidency and was nominated for several positions in Saudi sports,
including potential President and Vice President of Al-Nassr Club.
He also became an Honorary Member of Al-Taawoun Club, a fierce rival of Al-Raed in the Qassim region.
In October 2017, Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, dissolved the board of Al-Raed and reappointed Fahad Al-Mutawa as President.
In 2019, Al-Mutawa was elected President of Al-Raed for a third term, defeating Yusuf Al-Tuwaijri in a recent election.
Al-Mutawa secured 3,000 votes, while Al-Tuwaijri received 308 votes.
His executive list included Ali Al-Sindi, Ahmed Al-Obeiri, Saleh Al-Morshood, Tariq Al-Faraj,
Thamer Al-Nasser, Abdulaziz Al-Rashood, Abdullah Al-Mushayti, and Suleiman Al-Tuwaijri.

Personal Life
Fahad Al-Mutawa is married and has children.
Financial Contributions
Fahad Al-Mutawa donated land to establish an emergency medical center under the Saudi Red Crescent Authority,
at a total cost of 950,000 SAR, in the province of Al-Shamasiyah.
In addition, he has personally contributed over 50 million SAR to the club’s finances.
