Riyadh Governor Honors Top Donors on Ehsan Platform
Under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, honored the most generous contributors to the Ehsan national charity platform during a special ceremony held in the capital. The event recognized individuals and organizations whose donations helped transform lives across Saudi Arabia throughout the past year.
The Ehsan platform, established by royal decree in 2021, has grown into one of the most prominent digital philanthropy initiatives in the Kingdom. In 2025 alone, the platform served more than 1.065 million beneficiaries, a testament to the deeply rooted culture of giving that defines Saudi society.
Small Donations, Massive Impact
What makes the Ehsan model remarkable is that eighty percent of all donations came from individual contributors, many giving amounts as modest as one to fifty riyals. These small contributions, when pooled together through the platform’s trusted digital infrastructure, generated an outsized humanitarian impact that reached families in need across every region of Saudi Arabia.
The sixth National Charity Campaign, launched during Ramadan 1447, continues to attract donations from across the Kingdom. Contributors can give through the Ehsan mobile application, the official website at ehsan.sa, or through the unified contact number 8001247000. The campaign has seen record engagement during the holy month, with daily donations surging as communities embrace the spirit of generosity.
A Digital Model for Charitable Work
Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Ehsan, expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for its unwavering support of charitable initiatives. He emphasized that the platform represents a new era in philanthropic work, one driven by transparency, technology, and trust.
The platform partners with verified charitable organizations across Saudi Arabia to ensure that every riyal reaches those who need it most. From debt relief programs that restore suspended government services to healthcare support through partnerships with institutions like King Saud Medical City, Ehsan continues to expand its reach and refine its impact.
As Ramadan progresses, the platform remains open to donations around the clock, offering Saudi residents and citizens a seamless way to contribute to the Kingdom’s thriving culture of generosity. The success of Ehsan reflects a broader national commitment under Vision 2030 to empower communities and strengthen the social fabric of Saudi Arabia.
