In a powerful and inspiring moment, deaf Saudi artist Elham Abu Talib launched her first solo art exhibition titled “Elham” at the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah.
The exhibition showcased more than 40 vibrant and expressive paintings, each telling a story beyond words.
This exhibition marks a defining chapter in Elham’s journey.

Despite living in silence, she transformed her world of emotions into vivid, visual narratives. During the opening, she said:
“My father taught me that disability is not an end—it’s the beginning of a unique kind of strength.”
The event drew a large audience of artists, cultural figures, and enthusiasts who praised her talent and determination to break new ground.
Elham’s art is not just about aesthetics—it delivers a message of resilience and hope.
Her journey proves that art has the power to transcend limitations, and that a voice can be heard through its impact, not just sound.
Looking ahead, Elham aspires to represent Saudi Arabia in international exhibitions and continues to advocate for the empowerment of artists with disabilities across the Kingdom.
