Casablanca – In Morocco’s vibrant textile industry, one name carries both history and prestige: the Chaoui family. Daughters of Omar Chaoui, a pioneer in textile exports to Europe since 1969 and one of the co-founders of Amith (the Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing Industries), Kenza Chaoui, fashion designer and CEO, and Rita Chaoui, Executive Director, are now carrying forward this legacy through their own venture: Atelier Coupé Cousu.

Tradition Meets Modern Vision
Created to respond to the growing demand for customization in the textile industry, Atelier Coupé Cousu strikes a balance between heritage and innovation.
With a loyal team – many of whom once worked alongside their father – Kenza and Rita have built a human-sized structure where creativity, precision, and passion converge.
“We wanted this atelier to be a natural continuation of our family’s story,” explains Rita Chaoui. “Here, we work like a family, with people who have been part of our journey for decades.”

Expertise in Tailor-Made Excellence
The atelier specializes in small to medium production runs, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship. From fluid dresses and elegant suits to hotel uniforms and designers’ collections, every piece is crafted with meticulous care.
The in-house design studio adds unique value, transforming ideas into finished garments in harmony with trends and tailored to the client’s vision.

Supporting Morocco’s Textile Growth
Beyond fashion, Atelier Coupé Cousu is an active contributor to Morocco’s textile development.
By collaborating with hotels, restaurants, spas, clinics, local designers, and brands, Kenza and Rita help strengthen the image of a high-end, modern, and competitive Moroccan textile industry.
“We want to show that Morocco has not only a strong textile tradition but also the ability to innovate and adapt to international standards,” adds Kenza Chaoui.
Spotlight on Saudi Arabia: A Market of Strong Expansion
Among the global opportunities, Saudi Arabia stands out as a market in remarkable growth. With its ambitious tourism and cultural projects currently under development, the Kingdom is emerging as a hub for hospitality, luxury, and creativity.
Kenza and Rita have had the opportunity to visit Saudi Arabia several times, discovering first-hand the dynamism and potential of its evolving economy.
“Atelier Coupé Cousu is ready to accompany this transformation,” they explain, “by providing tailored uniforms for hotels, restaurants, and large-scale projects, as well as supporting the emerging generation of Saudi fashion designers with our expertise and production capabilities.”

A Family and Collective Adventure
More than an atelier, Coupé Cousu is a home where textiles embody values of heritage, loyalty, modernity, and creativity.
By combining Kenza’s artistic vision with Rita’s managerial expertise and leadership, the two sisters are extending their father’s legacy while opening a new chapter for Moroccan textiles.
