For the first time in the Middle East and North Africa, the historic city of AlUla is set to host the Instagram Creators Summit, from April 20 to 22.
The event is being organized by a leading global tech company, in collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and Riyadh Air.
The summit will welcome top-tier content creators from around the world, representing a combined follower base of over 231 million Instagram users, highlighting the growing influence of creators in shaping tourism, storytelling, and cultural trends.
The program will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops focused on the future of content creation in a digital-first world.

Spotlight on Meta AI and Instagram Tools
A central theme of the summit is the exploration of Meta AI and its transformative role in the content creation space — from increasing engagement to monetization and global reach.
Sessions will also dive into how creators can make the most of Instagram’s newest tools, all while engaging directly with Meta’s product team to foster innovation and collaboration.
Celebrating Cultural Identity in the Digital Age
The summit will also highlight how digital creators can help preserve and promote local heritage and crafts in an era driven by rapid technological change.
AlUla offers a naturally inspiring backdrop, where attendees will immerse themselves in over 200,000 years of heritage, visiting landmarks such as Hegra (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Old Town, and Madrasat Addeera, the creative heart of AlJadidah Arts District.
This event marks a strategic milestone in positioning AlUla as a global hub where history meets the future—and where creators can leave a meaningful mark in the digital landscape.
