The tourism sector in Saudi Arabia recorded 5% growth in 2025, highlighting the sector’s continued momentum and reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as one of the fastest-growing tourism destinations in the region and globally.
This growth was driven by the expansion of tourism activities, diversified destinations, rising numbers of domestic and international visitors, and ongoing development of tourism infrastructure. Cultural and entertainment events, along with improved service quality, also played a key role in enhancing visitor experiences.
In 2025, tourism’s contribution to the national economy increased significantly, supported by rising investments in hospitality projects, resorts, and specialized tourism destinations, as well as initiatives aimed at boosting domestic tourism and attracting new international markets.
The strong performance reflects the success of strategic efforts focused on diversifying tourism offerings, increasing capacity, and enhancing the overall visitor experience, in line with broader economic diversification goals and long-term growth objectives.
