The Saudi media community has been saddened by the passing of broadcaster Abdulkarim bin Saleh Al-Muqrin, one of the most prominent voices of the Holy Quran Radio, following serious health complications that arose after gallbladder surgery. The complications affected his heart, lungs, and kidneys, and he had been receiving treatment in intensive care before his death.
Al-Muqrin was regarded as an influential figure in religious broadcasting in Saudi Arabia, closely associated with well-known radio programs such as “Noor Ala Al-Darb” and “Fatawa.” Through these programs, he left a lasting impact on listeners over many years, earning respect for his calm delivery, professionalism, and dedication to religious guidance and awareness.
Funeral prayers are scheduled to be held today, Saturday, after the Asr prayer at Al-Rajhi Mosque, with condolences to be received at the cemetery.
May God have mercy on the deceased, grant him eternal rest in Paradise, and bestow patience and comfort upon his family, relatives, and loved ones.
