Saudi innovator Reyam Alahmadi has officially launched “Astrophile,” a groundbreaking initiative designed to make space science accessible to communities across the Arab world and inspire the next generation of astronomers, engineers, and space enthusiasts.

Blending education, technology, and experiential learning, Astrophile aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and public engagement through interactive workshops, school programs, and digital learning platforms that bring the wonders of space closer to home.

Alahmadi, who has long been passionate about astronomy, said her mission is to “make space and astronomy approachable and exciting for everyone — especially young people and students.”

The launch of Astrophile aligns with Saudi Arabia’s growing investment in science, space exploration, and innovation under Vision 2030, which seeks to empower national talent and position the Kingdom as a hub for scientific excellence in the region.

The initiative also plans to collaborate with educational institutions and research centers to create dynamic learning experiences using AI-driven tools, simulations, and immersive visuals, offering a modern gateway into the mysteries of the universe.

Through Astrophile, Alahmadi hopes to cultivate scientific curiosity and promote a deeper understanding of the universe, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s leadership in advancing space education and innovation across the Arab world.
