On June 21, 2017 (26th of Ramadan) four years ago, King Salman invited and ordered by royal decree to appoint Prince Mohammed bin Salman as Crown Prince.
In this short space of time, our Kingdom like you never saw before, experienced rapid and sophisticated changes headed by the young prince who enhanced each and every citizen.
It was actioned across many fields as the objective was to achieve fundamental reform.
The last four years prove that the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has a vision when it comes to his country, helping on many reforms that advanced time and gain many successes.
Such endeavors have put Saudi Arabia as one of the most developed countries and positioned it in the center of international relations .
With the blessings of Almighty Allah and under the kind patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman and with the extensive support extended to Crown Prince’s Vision 2030,
the bright path of development and change and transformation has been outlined and transparency is being sought in every single process.
vision stems from the request to diversify the sources of income, increase the efficiency of the national economy and to adapt the Kingdom for fluctuations in the global economy,
regional problems and changes in political alignment. Vision: The vision also involves the role of citizen, empowers Saudi women, reduce the rate of corruption, and ban extremism while supporting Moderate Islam.
Heralding Change:
Earlier in his career, while still being only the deputy crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman coordinated the anti-Houthi “Decisive Storm” campaign in Yemen in 2015 and stopped the movement’s extremism and aggressiveness.
He also worked in constructing an equivalent force of Arabs in case of an attack and for the security of the Kingdom.
As has been said by him at that time, the provision of missiles by Iran to the Houthi militias is a blatant military aggression by the Iranian regime.
To this end, the Crown Prince also established an Islamic coalition to fight terrorism through media, politics, military and economic fronts in 2015 where 44 countries joined the fight.
Mohammed bin Salman has invested a lot of endeavors to consolidate and harmonize Arab effort to confront Iran interference and the other destructive actions in the region.
Reform Plan:
Mohammed bin Salman has been given credit for the economic transformation plan in the Kingdom hence Vision 2030.
It also envisions the use of several sources of economy, operational budgetary sustainable ness, and promotion of foreign investments.
Another major achievement of his leadership in 2016 was this vision prepared by the Council of the Economic and Development Affairs headed by the Crown Prince.
The vision encompasses several economic, developmental, and social plans divided into three categories: an inclusive economy,
a progressive society and a competitive nation, with the programs to be completed within the coming 20 years ending in the year 2030.
The Crown Prince also inaugurated a massive anti-corruption crusade focused on top civil servants and businessmen in the center of the operations.
Targets of this vigorous crusade were corrupt people who inflicted damage on their country.
The position of women has been enhanced by Prince Mohammed bin Salman by employing the ladies and making sure that they are accorded efficient roles and positions that would in a way enhance on the monumental progress and reform on the Kingdom’s economy.

For instance, in his constant crusade to advance his country in every aspect possible Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman unveiled the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program on January the 28th in Riyadh.
The overall target of this program is use the Kingdom to transform the Kingdom into one of the world’s most industrialized nation and a key logistics center.
Based on predicted on the changes that this program is anticipated to bring to the Saudi economy, this program is one of the 13 largest programs of Vision 2030.
For the first time in the Kingdom’s history, a single developmental program is designed to integrate the targeted sectors:
sector including industry, mining, energy and logistic infrastructure thereby leading to the creation of new highly specialized industries, Export of non-oil products and decrease in importation,
and improving the productivity of those sectors for KSA GDP, FDI attraction.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been managing a development revolution in the Kingdom for four years since Vision 2030, from which the goals in various areas are achieved.
It has been seen that Crown Prince is keen at advancing extensive economic reforms for the Kingdom’s future where he has mapped out a plan of 12 developmental programs with developmental schemes to be realized in the years to come that would strengthen the national economy all the while diversifying the sources.
Under the crown prince’s Strategic Vision 2030, the project for the largest cultural, sports, entertainment city ‘Qidiya’ in the Kingdom was initiated in Qiddiya area, SW of Riyadh city.
It is the only one of its kind in the whole world, occupying an area of 334 km², with a large area for safaris. Further, the largest heritage and cultural project was initiated to develop the Diriyah,
‘The Jewel of the Kingdom’ at a development cost of 75 billion riyals to become one of the most significant tourism, cultural, educational and entertainment city globally.
It derives its strength from its historical background, cultural setting it and the world heritage sites found in the region, particularly the historic the Al-Turaif district which is among the UNESCO world heritage sites.
Under the auspices and supervision of the Crown Prince, the Kingdom has embarked small and large projects the most significant of which are the “NEOM” project targets the future of human civilization in different aspects of its life such as Energy and Water, Mobility, Biotechnology, Food Livestock and Agriculture, Digital and Technical sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, Media Production and Entertainment Media which constitutes the basis of the rest of the sectors.
In July 31, 2017, the Crown Prince announced ambitious international tourism initiative in the Kingdom known as the Red Sea Project.
It is in one of the most beautiful and varied areas of the natural world, in partnership with some of the largest and most famous companies in the hospitality and hotel industries to build outstanding resorts on more than fifty natural islands between the cities of Umluj and Al-Wajh.

This vision reaches out to the Middle East especially the GCC countries where the unity of the GCC countries and the enhancement of their institutions, the sustaining of the council system, the rise and happiness of the nations of the GCC are some of the focal points of the Crown Prince’s vision. This vision expects the gulf leaders to recast the region into a ‘new Europe’.
The Crown Prince has stressed that the developmental gains of the GCC countries – considering the size of their economies across the Middle East – will turn them into distinct attraction centers of development programs,
foreign investment, the enhancement of human life programs, and youth’s readiness to enter the labor market and enabling them in new and promising sectors.
In a dialogue session at Future Investment Initiative in 2018, the Crown Prince addressed the future of the region over the number of years;
more significant and great works would be achieved and the people brought happiness, progress, and development. He is eager to bring the level of Fordism up to achieve new results in the countries of the region,
to achieve a certain level of integration in many fields of work together with a view to the prosperity of the countries of the region and the well-being of their people.
He reaffirmed his commitment to build on the progress of the GCC countries, overcome the ordeals and contribute to improve the lot of the generation yet unborn.

Under the strategy of “strategic partnerships” Vision 2030 improves the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the region and in the world.
Saudi people like the rest of the world have witnessed how the Crown Prince’s foreign tours have influenced the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy and the economy of the kingdom.
Such visits have mainly consisted of attending conferences of major significant companies in the countries he visited with an aim of enticing them to do business in the Kingdom.
Such endeavors have led to identification of strategic industrial sectors for cooperation with the Kingdom, for instance, Korean companies that invest in the Kingdom with over a billion US dollars.
Business organizations of Japanese origin also have direct investments in the Kingdom in excess of fifty billion riyals. Likewise,
the amounts that Chinese companies invest in the Kingdom is in the range of ten billion riyals, American companies and; many other industrial brands from all the developed countries of the world that are interested in investing.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been particularly involved in the formation of the Saudi Military Industries Company because he has been consistent in reconfiguring the work of the Ministry of Defense and directing attention to the military industries sector.
While on his working visits abroad the Crown Prince signed several treaties and memorandum of understanding between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and several countries of the world.

It has distinguished relations with leaders of the GCC countries, Arab and Islamic countries and world leaders based on the positive outcomes of the multiple tours and meetings of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the exchange of high-level visits.
Major leaders of the world categorize the Crown Prince as a reformist leader who actively advocates for change in his country through various social and economic reforms described time and again as revolutionary at global forums.
He also does his best to maintain the stability of the world: his hard work, which enabled not to worsen the oil market two years ago.
