Abdullah Al-Hamdan goes into Thursday night’s game with three Roshn Saudi League goals from Al-Nassr’s first ten matches. That already equals the most he has scored in any league season, a figure Opta says he reached four times before, in 2019-20, 2020-21, 2023-24 and 2025-26. One more against Al-Kholood would make this his most productive league campaign.

Kick-off is at 9pm Makkah time on 29 October at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, in round 12. Al-Nassr sit second on 25 points from ten games, two behind leaders Al-Hilal. Al-Qadsiah are also on 25 after playing a game more and face Al-Riyadh at the same hour, while Al-Kholood are ninth with 12 points.

The striker is available after shaking off a muscle strain picked up in the 3-1 win away to Al-Faisaly on 23 October. In that game he struck from outside the box in the fourth minute, the quickest goal of his pro-league career, and later set up Angelo for the third goal in the 79th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo had headed the second in the 49th.

Searches for “Al-Nassr v Al-Khaleej” point to an earlier chapter of the same story. The two clubs met in round 7 on 12 September at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium, where Omar Mascarell put Al-Khaleej ahead in first-half stoppage time and Al-Hamdan levelled at 1-1 in the 72nd minute. Al-Khaleej are in action again today against Al-Hazem at 5:35pm.

History favours the hosts tonight. Al-Kholood have not beaten Al-Nassr in four pro-league meetings, drawing one and losing three, although Al-Hamdan has neither scored nor assisted in his two previous games against them.
