The Saudi Warehousing and Logistics Expo has opened in Riyadh, bringing together logistics companies, technology providers, government entities, investors and supply chain specialists as the Kingdom continues to develop its logistics ecosystem and strengthen its role as a regional trade and distribution hub.<\/p>\n
Held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from Sept. 8-10, the event is taking place under the patronage of Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser. Vice Minister Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih officially inaugurated the exhibition, which organizers dmg events expect will attract more than 18,000 industry professionals.<\/p>\n
The exhibition brings together more than 300 exhibitors from over 25 countries, according to comments cited by Arab News, creating a platform for companies to showcase technologies and services across warehousing, logistics, industrial real estate and supply chain management.<\/p>\n

The previous edition of the exhibition also highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in supply chains, fleet management, automation and modern logistics services.<\/p>\n
The development of warehousing infrastructure also has implications beyond commercial distribution, particularly in food security.<\/p>\n
Cold and frozen storage facilities, specialized transportation and reliable distribution networks are essential for maintaining the quality of temperature-sensitive products and reducing food waste.<\/p>\n
MS Logistics Chief Operating Officer Khaled Elmoursi told Arab News that the company sees the expo as an opportunity to connect with industry leaders and develop partnerships, while highlighting the role of advanced cold and frozen storage facilities in supporting food security and reducing waste.<\/p>\n
The exhibition is also creating opportunities for companies involved in logistics real estate and infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Kaden, which is participating as a diamond sponsor, is showcasing its logistics park developments across Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah and Dammam.<\/p>\n

At Transport Logistic China 2026 in Shanghai, a Saudi delegation representing 25 national entities presented more than 75 investment opportunities and participated in agreements covering trade, technology transfer, digital solutions and industrial development.<\/p>\n
Rail freight is another part of this broader network. Saudi Arabia Railways reported that it transported more than 30 million tons of freight in 2025, while rail freight helped eliminate around two million truck journeys and save approximately 139 million liters of fuel.<\/p>\n
Together, these developments point to a logistics model in which ports, railways, highways, airports, warehouses and digital platforms increasingly operate as interconnected components of the same supply chain.<\/p>\n
The summit held alongside the exhibition addressed logistics infrastructure and investment, multimodal connectivity, warehousing and distribution, digital resilience and supply chain security.<\/p>\n
The event also features CPD-certified Hala Chats on Sept. 9-10, providing practical, case-based discussions focused on the operational challenges facing today’s supply chains.<\/p>\n
The timing of the exhibition also comes as Riyadh prepares to host the second Global Logistics Forum from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 2026, alongside the UN Global Supply Chain Forum 2026.
