Saudi Arabia is set to strengthen its cultural presence in France through the establishment of a Saudi cultural center in Paris, creating a dedicated platform to showcase the Kingdom’s cultural identity, rich heritage and contemporary creative scene. The initiative comes alongside Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to France.

The new center is expected to serve as a cultural bridge between Saudi Arabia and France, offering programs and events highlighting the Kingdom’s history, culture, arts and creative development while giving French audiences greater insight into Saudi Arabia’s cultural identity and ongoing transformation.

According to France’s Ministry of Culture, the center will highlight the depth and diversity of Saudi culture through a range of cultural programs designed to strengthen engagement and dialogue with French society.

It will also support the international presence of Saudi cultural practitioners and creatives, creating opportunities for closer collaboration between artists, intellectuals and cultural institutions in both countries.

The initiative is expected to facilitate strategic partnerships between Saudi and French cultural organizations, encourage the exchange of expertise and support joint cultural and creative projects.

The establishment of the center comes as Saudi-French relations continue to expand across a range of sectors, including culture, investment, education, the arts and the economy.

Culture has become an increasingly important dimension of the relationship, particularly as Saudi Arabia expands its participation in major international cultural events and initiatives.

The Paris center will provide an additional platform for presenting the Kingdom’s evolving cultural and artistic landscape, while introducing international audiences to the diversity of Saudi heritage and creative expression.

The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to expand its cultural presence internationally and use culture and the arts to build stronger connections between societies.

It also aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to develop the cultural sector, empower creatives and strengthen the Kingdom’s position on the global cultural stage.

The new center in Paris is expected to bring together Saudi heritage and contemporary creativity, offering a broader perspective on the Kingdom’s cultural identity and future vision while strengthening cultural and intellectual dialogue between Saudi Arabia and France.
