Egyptian singer and actor Mohamed Ramadan delivered a highly theatrical concert in Ras El Bar on Thursday, arriving at the venue by helicopter before making another dramatic entrance on stage inside one of his luxury cars, in scenes that quickly drew widespread attention on social media.

Videos showing Ramadan’s helicopter arrival circulated across social media platforms, with fans and users sharing footage of the unusual entrance and reacting to the scale of the production surrounding the concert.

The helicopter arrival became one of the event’s most widely discussed moments even before the main performance began.

The surprises continued once Ramadan appeared on stage.

The singer entered the performance area inside one of his luxury vehicles, reportedly worth millions of Egyptian pounds, while members of his dance troupe performed around the car.

The unusual stage entrance added a strong visual and theatrical element to the concert and quickly became another widely circulated moment online.

The combination of the helicopter arrival and the luxury-car stage entrance reinforced Ramadan’s signature approach to live performances, which often blends music with elaborate visual and theatrical elements.

Ahead of the performance, Ramadan posted a message to his followers on social media urging them to help protect women, children and elderly attendees from overcrowding and excessive congestion.

His message came only days after his previous concert on Egypt’s North Coast was surrounded by controversy and social media claims concerning alleged harassment among members of the audience.

Ramadan told concertgoers that he hoped they would enjoy the music and have a good time, while specifically calling on young men to take responsibility for helping protect women, children and older attendees from the risks associated with large crowds.

He also expressed confidence that the Ras El Bar show would be among the strongest concerts in the Arab world.

The Ras El Bar concert took place shortly after Ramadan’s previous performance on Egypt’s North Coast, which generated significant controversy over several incidents associated with the event.

Social media users circulated claims alleging that some women had been subjected to harassment amid the crowds, while other criticism focused on elements of the stage performance and Ramadan’s appearance during parts of the show.

Another moment attracted particular attention when Ramadan was seen changing his clothes in front of the audience with assistance from a female dancer from his troupe.

Egypt’s Musicians Syndicate head Mostafa Kamel described the scene as unacceptable and criticized what he considered inappropriate behavior during the performance.

Following the controversy surrounding the North Coast concert, Kamel called for an urgent meeting involving several Egyptian artists’ unions to discuss what he described as unjustified violations during the performance.

He also warned that further action could be taken against Ramadan’s future concerts, including the possibility of withholding new performance permits if similar incidents were repeated.

The developments reflect the continued scrutiny faced by major performers in Egypt over stage conduct, public appearances and compliance with professional regulations governing live concerts.

Despite the controversy surrounding his previous performance, Ramadan’s Ras El Bar concert maintained a distinctly theatrical character.

From arriving by helicopter to entering the stage in a luxury car and performing alongside dancers, the event relied heavily on visual spectacle in addition to the musical performance.

That approach has become a recognizable feature of Ramadan’s concerts and has helped generate significant social media engagement, with individual moments from his shows frequently becoming widely shared clips.

At the same time, his pre-concert message represented an attempt to address one of the main concerns raised following his previous show by calling on the audience to help maintain safety and prevent dangerous overcrowding.

With its combination of elaborate entrances, musical performances and a direct appeal to the audience, Mohamed Ramadan’s Ras El Bar concert quickly became one of the most discussed entertainment events on Egyptian social media.
