Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has reiterated that strict penalties will be imposed on visitors who remain in the Kingdom after their entry visas expire, reaffirming its commitment to enforcing residency and immigration regulations.<\/p>\n

The ministry stressed that overstaying a visa is considered a legal violation and urged all visitors to leave the Kingdom before their visas expire to avoid severe penalties.<\/p>\n

Penalties for Overstaying<\/h2>\n

According to the Ministry of Interior, anyone who remains in Saudi Arabia after the expiration of their entry visa may face:<\/p>\n

  • A fine of up to SR50,000.<\/li>\n
  • Imprisonment for up to six months.<\/li>\n
  • Deportation from the Kingdom after serving the sentence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Officials emphasized that these penalties are enforced in accordance with Saudi regulations and apply to all visa overstayers.<\/p>\n

    Call to Comply with Visa Regulations<\/h2>\n

    The ministry urged all visitors and residents to monitor their visa validity and ensure timely departure from the Kingdom to avoid legal and financial consequences.<\/p>\n
