Saudi Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail inaugurated a series of municipal, housing, and development projects in the Al-Baha region and laid the foundation stone for additional projects, with total investments exceeding SR1.67 billion ($445 million).<\/p>\n

During the visit, the minister also handed over housing units to beneficiaries of the Kingdom’s developmental housing program, supporting Saudi Arabia’s efforts to increase homeownership and improve quality of life.<\/p>\n

Major Infrastructure Projects<\/h2>\n

Completed municipal projects valued at SR464 million were officially launched, while new projects worth SR873.5 million entered the construction phase.<\/p>\n

The developments include roads, sidewalks, street lighting, flood mitigation systems, public parks, and recreational facilities designed to strengthen infrastructure and improve services for both residents and visitors.<\/p>\n

Expanding Housing Opportunities<\/h2>\n

In the housing sector, Al-Hogail inaugurated projects worth SR185.7 million, including the Telal Al-Baha development, as well as housing initiatives in Baljurashi and Qilwa governorates.<\/p>\n

He also laid the foundation stone for new residential projects valued at SR150 million under the Kingdom’s off-plan sales program to increase housing supply and support homeownership.<\/p>\n

Supporting Vision 2030<\/h2>\n

The new investments reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to developing modern infrastructure, expanding housing opportunities, and improving municipal services across the Kingdom.<\/p>\n
