During the same period, the ministry introduced new services, including a unified system for documenting training contracts and a registration service for Saudi nationals, aimed at organizing employment relationships and reducing irregular practices such as multiple contracting.<\/p>\n

Increased Compliance Requirements<\/h3>\n

To enhance transparency, the ministry raised the required contract documentation compliance rate to 85% by the end of April, with plans to increase it to 90% by the end of June. Compliance is measured by the ratio of documented contracts to total contracts within each establishment, helping protect the rights of both employers and employees.<\/p>\n

Strengthening Legal Frameworks<\/h3>\n

Reforms also focused on strengthening the legal enforceability of contracts. Authenticated fixed-term contracts are now recognized as enforceable instruments upon renewal or update, with plans to extend this framework to indefinite contracts in future phases.<\/p>\n

Workforce Development Initiatives<\/h3>\n

The reforms extend to workforce development, requiring private-sector companies with 50 or more employees to provide on-the-job training opportunities for Saudi nationals equivalent to at least 2% of their workforce annually. Training periods must range from two to six months and be fully documented on Qiwa.<\/p>\n

Additionally, large companies with more than 5,000 employees must train at least 100 individuals each year, supporting the development of national talent.<\/p>\n
