The Commission announced that strategic and investment directions for building Makkah Airport according to international standards have been approved. Work is underway with the private sector to develop suitable investment models without affecting the feasibility of airports in neighboring cities.<\/p>\n
Al-Rasheed confirmed that feasibility studies and preliminary designs for the Makkah Metro project have been completed, paving the way for actual implementation of the project that will change the transportation reality in the holy city. The metro is expected to facilitate the movement of visitors, pilgrims, and citizens alike.<\/p>\n
