Fahad bin Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Mutawa<\/a> is a Saudi businessman, former football player, and multiple-term President of Al-Raed Club, which he currently heads.<\/p>\n

Early Life<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Fahad Al-Mutawa was born in 1960 in Buraidah, in the Qassim region. His father was one of the most prominent figures in the city of Buraidah.<\/p>\n

Education<\/strong><\/h3>\n

He completed his primary and secondary education in Buraidah. After earning his high school diploma, he traveled to the United States to study Management Sciences.<\/p>\n

He also studied Computer Science, earning both a Bachelor\u2019s and a Master\u2019s degree in Management Sciences and Computer Engineering.<\/p>\n

Career<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Fahad Al-Mutawa is a businessman and currently serves as President of Al-Raed Football Club, one of the leading clubs in the Qassim region.<\/p>\n

He is also a former football player; he began his football career with Al-Nassr Club, where he played across all levels: youth, juniors, and first team.<\/p>\n

He later transferred to Al-Raed Club, where he played with the first team for one season.<\/p>\n

In 2009, he served as President of Al-Nassr Club.<\/p>\n

Achievements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Upon returning to Saudi Arabia, Al-Mutawa pursued a career in private business.<\/p>\n

While Al-Raed was competing in the Saudi Professional League, Al-Mutawa supported the club with a financial donation of 50 million SAR in 2008.<\/p>\n

In the following year, he assumed leadership of the club. Despite investing in several key signings, the club initially struggled with poor results.<\/p>\n

Although Al-Raed failed to maintain its place in the Zain Saudi Professional League, an expansion in the number of participating teams allowed Al-Raed to remain in the top division.<\/p>\n

In subsequent seasons, the team improved its performance.<\/p>\n

Al-Mutawa later stepped down from the presidency and was nominated for several positions in Saudi sports,<\/p>\n

including potential President and Vice President of Al-Nassr Club.<\/p>\n

He also became an Honorary Member of Al-Taawoun Club, a fierce rival of Al-Raed in the Qassim region.<\/p>\n

In October 2017, Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, dissolved the board of Al-Raed and reappointed Fahad Al-Mutawa as President.<\/p>\n

In 2019, Al-Mutawa was elected President of Al-Raed for a third term, defeating Yusuf Al-Tuwaijri in a recent election.<\/p>\n

Al-Mutawa secured 3,000 votes, while Al-Tuwaijri received 308 votes.<\/p>\n

His executive list included Ali Al-Sindi, Ahmed Al-Obeiri, Saleh Al-Morshood, Tariq Al-Faraj,<\/p>\n

Thamer Al-Nasser, Abdulaziz Al-Rashood, Abdullah Al-Mushayti, and Suleiman Al-Tuwaijri.<\/p>\n

Fahad Al-Mutawa is married and has children.<\/p>\n

Financial Contributions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Fahad Al-Mutawa donated land to establish an emergency medical center under the Saudi Red Crescent Authority,<\/p>\n

at a total cost of 950,000 SAR, in the province of Al-Shamasiyah.<\/p>\n

In addition, he has personally contributed over 50 million SAR to the club\u2019s finances.<\/p>\n
