Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is a Saudi writer and former commander of the joint Arab forces during the liberation of Kuwait.
He has authored numerous articles and wrote the book “Desert Warrior”.
Early Life
Prince Khalid bin Sultan was born on September 24, 1948, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
His father: Sultan bin Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.
His mother: Munira bint Abdulaziz bin Musaed Al Saud.
Education
Prince Khalid studied at King Saud University.
He later obtained a military qualification from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

Military and Government Career
Prince Khalid bin Sultan was appointed as Minister of Defense in Saudi Arabia from November 5, 2011, to April 20, 2013.
He achieved the rank of General as a specialist in air defense.
He served as the commander of Arab forces during Operation Desert Storm to liberate Kuwait in 1991.
He was one of the signatories of the Safwan ceasefire agreement on September 24, 1991, which ended military operations in the Gulf War.
