Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is the former Minister of the Saudi National Guard and a former member of the Political and Security Affairs Council in Saudi Arabia.
Early Life
Born: October 12, 1953, in Qurayyat Al Ulya, northern Saudi Arabia.
He is the third son of the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Princess Munira bint Mohammed Al Atishan Al-Tamimi.
Spent his early childhood in Qurayyat Al Ulya under the care of his grandfather Mohammed Al Atishan, who was the governor of the town at that time.
He was named Mutaib II after his older brother Mutaib I, who passed away at a young age.
Many believe he is King Abdullah’s eldest son due to the late king’s nickname, “Abu Mutaib” (Father of Mutaib).

Education
Completed primary, intermediate, and secondary education in Riyadh and Jeddah.
Initially enrolled at King Saud University in Riyadh for one year before deciding to pursue a military career.
Graduated as a second lieutenant from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.
Later appointed as an instructor at the Saudi National Guard Military Schools in Riyadh.
