Following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz,
Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the relevant authorities have announced the launch of a dedicated electronic platform to receive applications from citizens interested in acquiring developed residential lands in Riyadh.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive plan to address challenges in the real estate market and boost homeownership for Saudi citizens.
The platform will allow applicants to register for lands ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 residential plots annually over the next five years, at a fixed price not exceeding SAR 1,500 per square meter, in designated areas across the capital, all within the framework of a well-planned and integrated urban development approach.
Applicants must meet specific criteria, including being married or over the age of 25, and not owning a previous residential property, to ensure the support reaches eligible and deserving citizens—especially first-time homebuyers.

This initiative comes as part of a broader set of urgent measures directed by the Crown Prince to control rising real estate prices in Riyadh, which also include:
Lifting restrictions on land development in northern Riyadh.
Issuing amendments to the White Land Tax system within two months.
Regulating landlord-tenant relations within three months.
Monitoring real estate prices and submitting regular reports.
The authorities emphasized that the platform will provide a fully digital, transparent, and user-friendly process, with technical support available to assist users, ensuring fair distribution and swift processing of applications.
This marks a major step forward in offering affordable housing solutions, reflecting the leadership’s commitment to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030—especially in enhancing quality of life and ensuring residential stability for citizens.
